The intensity of the ocean in an aquatic perfume for men

Issey Miyake has always sought inspiration in creative encounters.

L'Eau d'Issey pour Homme Eau de parfum is the result of a new encounter between Issey Miyake Parfums and Alexis Rosenfeld, founder of the ocean exploration project 1Ocean. Project 1Ocean is an underwater exploration project founded by photographer Alexis Rosenfeld in collaboration with UNESCO. The aim is to explore and document the ocean in order to raise awareness of its richness and biodiversity.

The ensuing encounter inspired perfumer Sophie Labbé to create this intense new fragrance that pays homage to the shimmering and mysterious waters of the ocean.

Spicy top notes of Szechuan pepper add texture and intensity to the signature aquatic notes of L'Eau d'Issey pour Homme. As the fragrance develops, the bold complexity of fir balsam mingles with the woody depth of cedarwood in the base, creating a modern masculine scent.

L'Eau d'Issey pour Homme Eau de parfum is vegan-certified and is composed of 92% natural-origin ingredients.

An ocean-inspired design

The new design of the iconic L'Eau d'Issey pour Homme perfume bottle is inspired by the intense silvery reflections of the ocean.

The emblematic bottle is now (for the first time) refillable, with a special 150 ml refill size. Simply unscrew the spray pump and screw the refill onto the bottle. Refilling automatically stops when the bottle is full.

Each 100% wooden cap has a deep silver hue and is made from a single piece of wood, eliminating the need for plastic.
